She was reported missing by her mother on her Facebook post on October, 23, 2024. According to her family she was last heard from on October, 13, and she was last seen at an Airbnb with a group. The mother have laid a claim on Facebook that one Edward L. Lester III, is holding their daughter hostage. No one is certain for now if it was a kidnap or assassination attempt over the life of Katie Carey. Her disappearance has raised serious concerns in the hearts and minds of those in community, her family and her friends.
There have been rumors on the internet that she has been found dead, for now, this news or claims has not been confirmed by her family. So it is advised that such information be discarded until otherwise proven correct by her family.
