Jennifer Copeland, who had previously become a news anchor for WSBT 22, has passed suddenly. In the beginning, Jennifer was employed at WSBT 22 as a reporter. She later returned to the station in 2012 to take on the role of anchor. She was 46 years old.
She served as the nighttime anchor for a period of twelve years. Jennifer was employed at WSBT for a number of years before to her relocation to ABC57 in the previous year. In the month of May, she made the announcement that she had been given a diagnosis of prostate cancer.
After spending a significant amount of time working in television news, Jennifer eventually joined ABC57News in 2023, bringing with her a gorgeous smile, professionalism, and integrity. She was well-known for her genuine and emotive storytelling, which frequently entailed getting to know the real individuals who were the subjects of the events she was reporting.
She began her professional life in Cleveland, which is close to the city where she was raised. After that, she worked as a reporter for WSBT in South Bend, Indiana, before moving on to other cities such as Champaign, Illinois, Charlotte, North Carolina, and Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Jennifer came back to Michiana in 2012 to take over as the primary anchor at WSBT. She didn’t join us here at ABC57News until just the previous year, but from the moment she walked through the door, she brought happiness, warmth, and a ray of sunshine that we will never forget.
During this extremely trying time, we want her two daughters and the rest of her family to know that we are constantly thinking about and praying for them.
