The tragic passing of Nathan Garcia, a student at California State University who resided in Los Angeles, California, has occurred. The identity of the seventeen-year-old boy who was killed after he was struck and killed by a vehicle on the Harbor (110) Freeway in South Los Angeles was revealed on Tuesday by the county officials who were able to identify the incident.
It was determined by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner’s office that the pedestrian who sustained injuries in the accident was identified as Nathan Garcia, who was 17 years old. At the scene of the accident, Garcia was pronounced deceased by medical personnel. The California Highway Patrol reports that the incident occurred on the southbound freeway at West Century Boulevard at approximately 3:50 in the morning on Sunday. The location of the crash was identified as West Century Boulevard.
It was around 4:42 in the morning when a SigAlert was activated, which led to the closure of the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of the southbound freeway for a length of time that was at least two hours long.
